whew
Things are finally starting to look up. After this three year roller coaster of hell, emotions I would like to forget, I have been going non stop for about three weeks straight. We have moved back to Englewood. Really close to the ranch. I love the new house, I started working and it looks like we are going to be okay.
The kids are happy and I think it can only get better from here on out.

My Kids
A great day at Stump Pass, Just the three of us. A much needed day of alone family time was so nice. Lately, it seems we have all been busy going in different directions, always surrounded by others. Which we love~ But sometimes it is nice to just be with family, out in nature. UNPLUGGED from the games, the phone, the internet........
Especially when times are hard, it is refreshing to know that no matter what happens we have eachother. I am so proud of my kids. They are my world. Some may not understand it. But it doesn't matter. Tend to your own children. My kids don't go without love and everything we do for them is because we love them.

Bit Of Hope Ranch
My safe haven, the place we like to go to forget all our troubles. I just love it there. Kyle rode for the first time a few weeks ago. He has put in many many hours and never even logged them. He does not have an interest in riding much. But that is okay, I am just glad he tried. I rode a couple of times too and I love it. I am still a little nervous and saddened that age changes your whole state of mind and takes away the fun it seems. When I was younger I thought nothing of hopping on a horse and just going. Now as an adult I think 50 steps ahead, the horse has knocked me off, I visualize myself in the hospital, no insurance.... etc... maybe I need medication? no... but seriously, I am working on how to let go more often and just let it be. what will be will be.
Kayla is in 4-H and will be riding in shows and I for the most part will live vicariously through her. I envy her attitude, she is smart enough to know the risks and is not careless but she moves forward and pushes herself as much as she can. She is such a hard worker too. she was meant to live on a farm.
